Our end-of-line (EOL) radar test systems enable highly accurate and reproducible testing of radar sensors directly at the end of the production line. The combination of robot-guided motion, a modular system architecture and high-performance absorber technology ensures maximum precision, efficiency and process reliability in automated series production.

The system design is highly flexible and ranges from prototype development in single-unit production through to series production.

Modular System Architecture for Radar Testing

Our end-of-line (EOL) radar test system is based on a modular system architecture. This allows a wide range of radar sensor types to be tested reliably on a single platform – regardless of housing design, dimensions or connector variants.

Platform: ro|box

The ro|box forms the central element of the system and is responsible for automated handling as well as the realistic simulation of the test object.

Depending on the application requirements, either a 2D rotary unit or a 3D robot is used:

  • Elevation: ±30°
  • Azimuth: ±110°
  • Robot-guided, high-precision motion profiles

Adapters & Gripper Technology

Custom-designed grippers are used for each test object. Equipped with integrated absorbers, they ensure optimal electromagnetic shielding during testing. This guarantees consistently high measurement quality across the entire series.

Absorber Box & Target Modules

The sound-insulated, electromagnetically shielded and fully enclosed absorber box reliably eliminates external influences and creates stable test conditions.

Various configurations are available depending on space requirements, cycle time and application.
